About the Role

n

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Product Design Engineer to join our ITW Building Solutions team for a 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Product Design Engineer, this hybrid role is based in Dandenong South, Victoria.

What You'll Do

n

As our Graduate Product Design Engineer, you will:

n

n
- Support product development through CAD drafting, design updates and technical documentation using SolidWorks.
n
- Conduct product testing, validation and competitor benchmarking to support new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
n
- Assist with product specifications, technical reporting, quality investigations and compliance activities relating to Australian and ISO standards.
n
- Contribute to value engineering and product improvement projects focused on performance, innovation and cost optimisation.

What You'll Bring

- Completed bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or Product Design Engineering.
n




- Graduate or early-career engineer
n
- Foundational SolidWorks 3D CAD capability.
n
- Strong attention to detail and technical documentation skills.
n
- Analytical problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn.
n
- A collaborative approach and solid communication skills.
