About the role

Midland Tractors is the Tasmanian Dealer for John Deere Agricultural Products, Silvan Spraying & Farming Equipment and Segway Power Sports. We service a diverse range of customers with quality, well renowned equipment and after sales support and service.

n

We are seeking the services of a self-motivated Sales Skilled to join our team servicing the North West Coast of Tasmania.

n

Key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Actively pursuing new business opportunities whilst maintaining the current customer base
n
- Maintaining a current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership
n
- Maintaining all customer information for sales management
n
- Following a defined sales process
n




- Conducting new equipment field demonstrations
n
- Maintaining current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
n
- Attending applicable sales training events / seminars
n
- Maintaining current knowledge of used equipment values and ability to evaluate for trading purposes
n
- Previous sales experience, ideally in the agricultural equipment industry (desirable)
n
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment
n
- Ability to seek sales opportunities
n
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Suite, CRM and Sales software
n
- Motor vehicle licence is essential
