Rigger Leading Hand – Tunnel Ventilation Installation

About the Role

n

We are currently seeking experienced Riggers to support lifting and installation activities for tunnel ventilation equipment.

n

This role will involve complex lifts including large fans, duct sections, and associated plant, working closely with crane operators and supervisors.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform rigging and dogging activities for lifting mechanical equipment
n
- Set up lifting gear including slings, chains, shackles, and lifting beams
n
- Work with Supervisors to execute lift plans safely and efficiently
n
- Inspect lifting equipment prior to use and ensure compliance
n
- Assist with positioning and installation of mechanical equipment




n
- Adhere to all site safety and lifting procedures
n

n

About You

n

n
- Valid High Risk Work Licence (Rigging – Basic/Intermediate/Advanced)
n
- Proven experience in construction or major infrastructure projects
n
- Experience with complex lifts and heavy mechanical equipment
n
- Strong understanding of lift planning, load calculations, and rigging techniques
n
- Robust commitment to safety and teamwork
