As part of our long‐term growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced National Service & Parts Manager to lead the development of our aftersales operation across Australia. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a best‐in‐class national service and parts network from the ground up.

Position Summary

n

Reporting directly to the executive management team, the National Service & Parts Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving Hangcha Australia's national aftersales strategy.

n

The successful candidate will establish scalable service standards, parts operations, dealer support systems and technical capabilities that deliver industry‐leading customer experience while supporting our rapidly growing dealer network across Australia.

n

This role requires both strategic leadership and hands‐on operational capability.

Key Responsibilities

Service Strategy & Operations

n

n
- Develop and implement Hangcha Australia's national aftersales strategy.
n
- Build a consistent nationwide service operating model.
n
- Establish service standards, KPIs, policies and procedures.
n
- Drive service quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
n
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the service network.
n
- Develop warranty management processes and technical escalation procedures.
n
- Monitor service performance and implement corrective actions where required.
n

Parts Business Management

n

n
- Develop and optimise Australia's national spare parts strategy.
n
- Establish inventory planning and stocking policies.
n




- Improve parts availability while maintaining healthy inventory turnover.
n
- Build efficient procurement and logistics processes.
n
- Monitor parts sales performance and profitability.
n
- Identify opportunities to expand aftermarket parts revenue.
n

n

Provide technical and operational support to dealers nationwide.

n

n
- Develop dealer service capability improvement programmes.
n
- Establish dealer audit and certification processes.
n
- Build strong relationships with key fleet customers.
n
- Resolve major technical and customer issues.
n
- Support national key account service agreements.
n

n

Technical & Training

n

n
- Establish technical training programmes for dealers and technicians.
n
- Develop service manuals, technical bulletins and repair standards.
n
- Coordinate technical support with Hangcha headquarters.
n
- Lead new product technical introductions.
n

n

Leadership

n

n
- Recruit, mentor and develop the national service and parts team.
n
- Foster a customer‐focused and high‐performance culture.
n
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Warehouse and Finance teams.
n
- Prepare annual budgets and manage departmental performance.
n

n

Minimum 10 years' experience within the material handling industry.

n

n
- Proven experience with companies such as Toyota Material Handling, Linde Material Handling, Crown Equipment, Hyster, Yale, Jungheinrich, Mitsubishi Logisnext or equivalent.
n
- Strong experience managing both service operations and spare parts business.
n
- Demonstrated success in building or improving nationwide aftersales systems.

- Robust technical understanding of forklifts, warehouse equipment and material handling products.
n
- Experience managing dealer networks.
n
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
n
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and KPIs.
n
- Excellent problem‐solving and decision‐making abilities.
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
n
- Current Australian driver's licence.
n
- Ability to travel nationally as required.
n

Highly Desirable

n

- Experience working for an OEM or national distributor.
n
- Experience establishing service operations during business expansion.
n
- Knowledge of lithium‐ion technology and electric forklifts.
n
- Experience with ERP systems and aftersales management software.
n
- Trade qualification or engineering background.
n
- Experience working with multinational organisations.
n
