Provide clinical physiotherapy services to patients within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service across a broad spectrum of rehabilitation services

The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Physiotherapist (Rehabilitation) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-solid team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

n

n
- Deliver clinical services in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
n
- Provide input into the development of clinical practices, procedures and protocols.
n
- Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making.
n
- Work cooperatively and effectively within physiotherapy and multidisciplinary teams.
n

About you

n

To be successful in this position you will require:

n

n
- The possession of a tertiary degree in Physiotherapy.
n
- Registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
n
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B.
n
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
n
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
n

- Base salary ranging from $80,015 - $116,189 per annum

Gold Coast Health Rehabilitation Physiotherapy Service provides patient focused, goal oriented care within a multidisciplinary team aimed at improving functional ability in patients with a range of conditions including acquired brain injury, spinal injury, neurological conditions, limb amputation, traumatic injuries, and post -surgery. Our service includes inpatient rehabilitation units and rehabilitation response teams at Robina and Gold Coast University Hospitals (GCUH) as well as Rehabilitation Outpatient Physiotherapy Department at GCUH.
