About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Field Service Mechanic / Diesel Fitter to join our VIC team.

n

This role is primarily field based across Melbourne, with the workshop located in Ballarat for rebuilds, major works, and team support as required.

n

You'll be working on a range of mobile plant and materials processing equipment, supporting both on-site customer work and occasional workshop-based tasks.

n

If you're Melbourne-based and prefer being out in the field rather than tied to a workshop, this role offers robust autonomy and variety.

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing mobile plant and materials processing equipment
n
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
n
- Carrying out component rebuilds and major change-outs
n
- Completing pre-delivery inspections and commissioning new machines
n
- Attending breakdowns and scheduled service work across Melbourne customer sites
n

What You'll Bring

n

n
- Experience with heavy mobile plant,



crushing/screening equipment, or similar
n
- Ability to work independently in the field and as part of a workshop team
n
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
n
- 3–5+ years' experience with mobile plant or related equipment
n
