About The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced tradesperson to work within a commercial cleaning contract in Acton, ACT. You will liaise with building occupants and contractors, ensuring the effective coordination and delivery of day-to-day maintenance requirements.

- Assign contractors and inspect general maintenance, repairs and minor refurbishment works across accommodation rooms, common areas and facilities
n
- Assign contractors and inspect basic carpentry, painting, plumbing and handyman tasks
n
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities
n
- Assist with furniture assembly, room setup and facilities preparation for events and conferences
n
- Maintain grounds, outdoor areas and building presentation standards
n
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational issues
n
- Liaise with contractors and service providers where required
n
- Ensure all work is undertaken safely and in accordance with WHS requirements
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience in building maintenance, facilities management or a handyman role
n
- Sound practical skills across a range of general maintenance disciplines
n
- Demonstrated understanding of risk management principles, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures
n




- Robust attention to detail and commitment to high presentation standards
n
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage competing priorities
n
- Friendly, professional and service-oriented approach
