About the role
n
The Allied Health Manager is a senior leader who provides operational, strategic, qualified and clinical leadership to Physiotherapy, Dietetics, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Mid-Western Brain Injury and Social Work teams to ensure the delivery of high‐quality clinical care.
n
You will lead the strategic initiatives within the teams to contribute to the successful delivery of District, State and Commonwealth priorities at Bathurst Health Service.
n
While leading and oversee the maintenance and monitoring of clinical and workforce governance mechanisms to promote professional growth and high performance across your teams, you will demonstrate accountability and a positive workplace culture.
n
The successful candidate will provide expert advice to Bathurst Heath Service Executive on matters relating to clinical and workforce governance to ensure timely and effective issues resolution.
n
In addition to leading supporting staff to manage time and prioritise their clinical,
operational and strategic workloads within optimum delivery standards, the Allied Health Manager will manage a complex and diverse team of clinicians.
n
Reporting to the General Manager, this role is also responsible for leading and supporting the achievement of National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards within Bathurst Health Service.

Bathurst Hospital Services include allied health, ambulatory care, coronary care, emergency medicine, intensive care (level 4), general medicine, maternity (level 4), mental health drug & alcohol, obstetrics & gynaecology, oncology, paediatrics, pathology, radiology, rehabilitation and surgery services.
