Diesel Tech Industries Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing, family-owned business based in Rutherford, NSW.

This role involves working across a diverse range of heavy vehicles, light vehicles, and plant & equipment, both in our workshop and on-site. You'll play a key role in keeping our customers' machinery and fleets operating efficiently and reliably.

About the Role

n

Diesel Tech Industries Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our growing, family-owned business based in Rutherford, NSW.

This role involves working across a diverse range of heavy vehicles, light vehicles, and plant & equipment, both in our workshop and on-site. You'll play a key role in keeping our customers' machinery and fleets operating efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on:n n
- Heavy vehicles (trucks & fleet)
n
- Light vehicles (utes & cars)
n
- Plant & equipment (earthmoving machinery)
n

n
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
n
- Carry out scheduled servicing and breakdown repairs
n
- Complete major repairs including:n

n
- Engine work and overhauls
n
- Brake systems
n
- Transmission and driveline repairs
n

n




- Maintain accurate job cards and service records
n
- Adhere to WHS and safety procedures
n
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
n
- Provide skilled service when liaising with clients
n

n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
n
- Experience across trucks, light vehicles, and plant equipment
n
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Current driver's licence (HR licence highly regarded)
n
