About the role:

n

Due to continual growth within our company, we are currently looking for an Estimator with sound knowledge in Estimating to join our agile team on a full time basis.

n

The successful applicant will join a hard working team with a strong commitment to providing quality service.

n

Some of the key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Ensure relationships with internal and external customers, supervisors, suppliers, trades people, agents and contractors are maintained and improved
n
- Produce Purchase / Work orders and quantity take-offs in a timely manner
n
- Provide margin reports
n
- Request and interpret quotations




n
- Ensure jobs are cost effective and profitable
n
- Assist in Workflow of jobs in production
n
- Management of BOQ's
n

n

To be considered, you should possess:

n

n
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in an estimating role
n
- Previous experience in the building industry is a must
n
- Qualification in Building / Construction and/or trade experience is highly desirable
n
- Working knowledge of the Building and Construction process
n
- Exposure to estimating systems is highly advantageous
n
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines
n
- Self-motivated and desire to succeed
n
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
n
- Exceptional time management skills
n
- Ability to solve problems in a logical and systematic manner
n
