4 Seas Pty Ltd is Australia's leading premium wholesaler of tuna and swordfish, located on the Sunshine Coast. An opportunity has become available for a reliable and experienced hands-on Factory 2IC / Dispatch Supervisor to support the Factory Manager and help oversee daily factory, production and dispatch operations.

The role includes:

- Supervising, training and directing factory and dispatch staff.
n
- Coordinating daily production, packing, labelling and dispatch requirements.
n
- Ensuring customer orders are checked, documented and loaded accurately.
n
- Coordinating transport collections, deliveries and freight requirements.
n
- Overseeing truck and semi-trailer loading and unloading.
n
- Assisting with commercial fishing vessel unloads and product receival.
n
- Completing production, dispatch, inventory and freight documentation.
n
- Monitoring product quality, traceability, food safety and HACCP requirements.
n
- Maintaining workplace health, safety, housekeeping and hygiene standards.
n
- Managing stock levels for packaging, consumables, bait, fishing gear and vessel stores.
n
- Assisting with freezer and cold-storage organisation.
n




- Coordinating routine factory and equipment maintenance.
n
- Supporting staff performance and identifying training needs.
n
- Performing hands-on factory, processing, warehouse and manual-handling duties as required.
n

The successful applicant will have:

n

n
- Supervisory experience in a factory, food-processing, warehouse or dispatch setting.
n
- Strong organisational, leadership and time-management skills.
n
- Experience coordinating production, freight or customer dispatches.
n
- Excellent attention to detail and order accuracy.
n
- Knowledge of food safety, HACCP and workplace health and safety.
n
- Competence using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
n
- Experience with inventory, invoicing or warehouse systems.
n
- A current Class C driver's licence.
n
- A forklift licence is highly desirable.
n
- The physical ability to undertake regular manual handling and heavy lifting.
n
- The ability to work in chilled processing rooms, cold rooms and freezers.
n
- Flexibility to work early starts, additional hours and Saturdays when required.
