The Opportunity

An opportunity is available for an experienced APS6 Payroll, Recruitment & Reporting Officer to join a collaborative People and Culture team.

n

This role provides the opportunity to apply your expertise across payroll, workforce management, recruitment systems and workforce reporting while contributing to the delivery of high-quality HR services.

Working within a dynamic environment, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate workforce information, supporting effective decision-making and improving HR processes.

The Role

n

You will provide specialist payroll, workforce administration and reporting support while partnering with stakeholders to deliver effective people services.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Managing and supporting payroll and workforce management activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance
n
- Providing advice and assistance on workforce administration matters and HR processes
n
- Supporting recruitment activities, including the use of recruitment systems such as eRecruit
n




- Developing and interpreting workforce reports, dashboards and data insights to support decision-making
n
- Analysing workforce data and identify trends, issues and opportunities for improvement
n
- Identifying process improvements and contribute to enhancing HR service delivery
n
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and provide practical, solutions-focused advice
n

The Ideal Person

n

You are an experienced APS HR professional with strong capability across payroll, workforce management, recruitment and reporting.

n

You bring a detailed understanding of APS processes and the ability to translate workforce data into meaningful insights that support business decisions.

n

You have demonstrated experience managing complex payroll and workforce activities, working with HR systems and providing accurate reporting and analysis to stakeholders.

n

Your ability to identify improvements, streamline processes and provide trusted advice will enable you to make an immediate contribution.

n

You are organised, analytical and proactive, with strong stakeholder engagement skills and the confidence to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

n

Experience using eRecruit or similar recruitment systems will be highly regarded, along with the ability to interpret data and provide clear, actionable insights.

n

Salary / Rate

n

- $105k – $116k + Super
n
- 65/hr – $78/hr + Super
n
