The Opportunity
n
n
- Manage the end-to-end fortnightly payroll process across two entities.
n
- Process employee timesheets and ensure accurate payroll calculations.
n
- Manage payroll adjustments, allowances, deductions and leave entitlements.
n
- Prepare terminations, final payments and associated documentation.
n
- Manage superannuation payments and Single Touch Payroll reporting.
n
- Assist with payroll tax and WorkCover administration and reporting.
n
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records while ensuring confidentiality.
n
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related enquiries from employees and managers.
n
- Assist with timesheet discrepancies, leave entitlements and employee payroll records.
n
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls and efficiencies.
n
- Contribute to system enhancements and broader business improvement initiatives.
n
- Develop your capability with the chance to progress into a Payroll Lead role over time.

About You
n
n
- Previous payroll experience at a Junior to Intermediate level.
n
- Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals and end-to-end payroll processes.
n
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy.
n
- Friendly, approachable and confident communicating with employees and managers.
n
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet payroll deadlines.
n
- Proactive and solutions-focused with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
n
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
n
- Adaptable and eager to continue learning as systems and processes evolve.
n
- Experience with Employment Hero, Xero Payroll and/or the Building and Construction Award would be highly regarded.
n
