The Role
n
We are seeking a visionary, compassionate, and highly organized leader to fill the dual portfolio of Head of Wellbeing (Primary School) and Events Coordinator.
n
This unique role focuses on driving strategic student welfare initiatives for our Primary campus while leading the planning and execution of key school-wide events. You will work closely with the campus leadership team to cultivate a positive school culture grounded in Islamic values.

Key Responsibilities
n
Wellbeing Leadership (Primary School):
n
Develop and implement evidence-based student wellbeing frameworks and pastoral care programs.
n
Lead and mentor primary teaching staff in managing student behavior, resilience, and emotional growth.
n
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external specialists to support students with diverse pastoral needs.
n
Oversee initiatives that promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive playground and classroom environment.
n
Events Coordination:
n
End-to-end management of major school events, including graduations, assemblies, open days, and community festivals.
n
Coordinate logistics, budgeting, venue sourcing, vendor management, and internal scheduling.
n
Liaise with marketing and campus teams to ensure all events reflect the values and brand of Minarah College.

Detailed Job Descriptions
n
1. Head of Wellbeing (Primary School)
n
Strategic Policy Development: Build and review proactive Primary pastoral frameworks to enhance school culture.
n
Student Support Interventions: Partner with counselors and external specialists to construct tailored support maps for at-risk students.
n
Behavior Mentorship: Guide classroom teachers on positive reinforcement systems and conflict resolution.
n
Parent Liaison: Conduct parent education workshops and handle escalated student behavioral inquiries.
n
2. Events Coordinator
n
Operational Execution: Own the workflow for all assemblies, graduations, information nights, and festive community gatherings.
n
Budgetary Oversight: Quote, allocate, and record all expenses, ensuring strong ROI for vendor bookings.
n
Stakeholder Syncing: Chair run-sheet meetings with marketing, maintenance, and educational departments.
n
Logistics Alignment: Oversee site mapping, safety risk assessments, AV production, and staging setups.
n
Selection Criteria
n
Qualifications: Must be a qualified teacher with active NESA accreditation (or eligibility).
n
Experience: Proven experience working in a school environment handling student wellbeing portfolios, pastoral care, or large-scale educational event logistics.
n
Cultural Alignment: Deep understanding of, and commitment to, the Islamic ethos, values, and community of Minarah College.
n
Skills: Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills, with a high capacity to multitask.
n
Compliance: A valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) is mandatory.
