We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established supplier of premium timber flooring and interior finishes who is looking for a Design & Showroom Consultant to join their showroom in South Melbourne.

n

Whether you're a recent Interior Design graduate or have some experience in a showroom or design environment, this is a outstanding opportunity to build your career while working with quality products and a supportive team.

About the Role

n

As the first point of contact in the showroom, you'll welcome clients and help them choose the right flooring and interior finishes for their projects.

n

You'll work with homeowners, architects, interior designers and builders, providing product advice and design guidance across a premium range of timber flooring, parquetry, hybrid flooring, carpet and other interior finishes.

n

You'll also support the sales team by preparing quotations, following up enquiries and helping guide projects from initial consultation through to sale.

n

About You

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n




- A qualification (or be close to completing one) in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline.
n
- A genuine interest in interiors, design and quality materials.
n
- Strong communication and people skills.
n
- A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach.
n
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
n
- A willingness to learn and develop within the industry.
n

n

Experience in a showroom, interiors, flooring, furniture, kitchens, bathrooms or architectural products environment would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
