About the role

n

Due to a recent rise in workload within our service and maintenance division, we now have exciting new openings for Plumbers & Gas Fitters. Our company serves a diverse range of customers, and you will be tasked with handling various assignments across Melbourne.

n

Each day,



you'll start from home and travel to residential sites arranged by our admin team. You can easily view and manage your scheduled bookings through our mobile app.

n

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

n

n
- Maintain, service and repair domestic and commercial plumbing systems.
n
- Install domestic and commercial plumbing systems, including water and gas lines.
n
- Diagnose plumbing faults and complete effective repairs.
n
- Install, replace, change over and repair hot water systems, including heat-pump systems.
n
- Complete drainage and sanitary plumbing work.
n
- Install plumbing fixtures and appliances.
n
- Plan and forecast the labour and materials required for each job.
n
- Ensure all work complies with applicable Australian Standards, regulations and workplace health and safety requirements.
n
- Deliver high-quality work within required timeframes.
n
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
n
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised worksite.
n

About You

n

We are looking for a skilled and dependable plumber who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship. You will be comfortable working autonomously,



making sound decisions and contributing as part of a team.

You will have:

- Experience in plumbing maintenance and installation work.
n
- Strong fault-finding, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
n
- The ability to work independently and within a team environment.
n
- A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
n
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
n
- A sound understanding of Australian Standards.
n
- A sound understanding of occupational and workplace health and safety requirements.
n
- The ability to forecast labour and material requirements.
n
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
n
- The ability to deliver quality results within tight timeframes.

Essential Requirements

n

n
- BPC plumbing and gas registration.
n
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
n
- Current Victorian driver's licence.
n
- Australian citizenship or permanent, unrestricted working rights in Australia.
n

n

Advantageous Qualifications

n

n
- Type A Gas Appliance Servicing registration.
n
- Mechanical Services registration or qualification.
n
- Restricted Electrical licence or qualification.
n
