Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major Australian infrastructure project focused on reducing emissions and supporting a more sustainable future. Working within a safety first environment, you will play a key role in delivering high quality electrical, instrumentation and control systems work in accordance with project requirements, industry standards and local regulations.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Install, terminate, test and commission instrumentation, control and electrical equipment in accordance with project drawings and specifications.
n
Perform loop checking, calibration and functional testing of field instrumentation and control systems.
n
Diagnose faults and troubleshoot instrumentation, electrical and control system issues.
n
Work safely and ensure all procedures and permit requirements are followed.
n
Comply with site Cardinal Rules and all safety requirements during the execution of work.
n
Assist with commissioning activities and support the successful delivery of project milestones.
n
Maintain accurate testing, calibration and commissioning records.
n
About You
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
Cert III in Instrumentation and Control, Electrical Instrumentation, Electrotechnology, or equivalent trade qualification.
n
Current unrestricted Electrical Licence (preferred where applicable)
n
EEHA qualification (issued within the last 5 years)
n
Current RIIWHS204E – Work Safely at Heights certification (issued within the last 3 years)
n
Current RIIWHS202E – Enter and Work in Confined Spaces certification (issued within the last 3 years)
n
Construction White Card
n
Current Australian Driver's Licence
n
Highly Regarded Experience
n
Brownfield experience within oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, power generation or heavy industrial environments.
n
Experience with commissioning, loop checking, calibration and functional testing activities.
n
Exposure to PLC, DCS, SCADA and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
n
Familiarity with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and Permit to Work systems.
n
Experience working with and maintaining hazardous area instrumentation and Ex equipment.
n
