Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at RAAF Townsville supporting surrounding locations in the NQLD region, with occasional regional travel.

n

You will be a part of a core crew of UGL technicians. These duties will include, but not limited to;

n

n
- Perform scheduled electrical & Instrumentation, maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment
n
- Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment
n
- Electrical Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment
n
- Support subcontracted work packages as required
n
- Support various sites in the region, with the occasional requirement to travel throughout QLD.

About the Candidate

n

n
- Be a strong team player,



a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer
n
- E & I Certification and A-grade electrical licence with relevant post trade experience
n
- Experience in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas / (EEHA) trained essential
n
- Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas
n
- Confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded
n
- Safety is at the forefront of everything you do!
n
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
n

Work Environment

New Rates as of 1st July 2026 - Maintenance Trades (Electrical)

n

n
- Level 1 - $47.25 p/h + Super - Plus Licence Allowance ($52.06 Weekly) & Tool Allowance ($37.63 Weekly)
n
- Level 2 - $50.96 p/h + Super - Plus Licence Allowance ($52.06 Weekly) & Tool Allowance ($37.63 Weekly)
n
- Level 3 (Dual Trade) - $54.70 p/h + Super - Plus Licence Allowance ($52.06 Weekly) & Tool Allowance ($37.63Weekly)
