We are excited to welcome an Assistant Accountant to our Finance team. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this role is responsible for end-to-end Accounts Receivable operations, including payment allocation, customer collections, daily AR reporting, and account reconciliations. The role ensures accurate customer records, supports month-end AR and fixed asset reconciliations, and provides assistance with staff reimbursements and other ad hoc finance tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Manage Accounts Receivable functions, including payment allocation, statement reconciliation, and follow-up of outstanding balances.

- Provide a daily AR report.
n
- Perform customer collections in a professional and timely manner, resolving payment discrepancies where required.
n
- Maintain accurate customer account records and ensure data integrity within the accounting system.
n




- Assist with month-end AR reporting and reconciliation.
n
- Provide support to staff reimbursement, including invoice checking and payment preparation.
n
- Assist with Fixed Asset records and reconciliations.
n
- Undertake other ad hoc duties as requested.
n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
n
- Experience or exposure to Accounts Receivable functions (essential).
n
- Experience with accounting and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
n
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
n
- High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
n
- Valuable communication and organisational skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with customers.
n
- Ability to multitask and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Advanced Diploma or Degree in Accounting.
n
- Bilingual skills in English and Mandarin is a must.
