We are currently seeking HR Driver to join our transport team in Warrnambool, Victoria.

n

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

n

n
- Operate Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicles for local livestock transport in a safe and efficient manner.
n
- Load, unload, and handle livestock in accordance with animal welfare standards and company procedures.
n
- Assist with yard operations, including livestock movement and preparation for transport.
n
- Conduct pre-start checks and basic vehicle inspections, reporting any faults or maintenance issues promptly.
n
- Follow designated routes, schedules, and operational instructions.
n
- Comply with all road safety regulations, fatigue management requirements, and company policies.
n
- Participate in structured training, mentoring, and competency assessments.
n




- Progress through the development pathway from HR to HC/B-Double and eventually B-Triple operations.
n
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to transport activities.
n
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and stakeholders.
n
- Contribute to a positive safety culture and continuous improvement within the transport team.
n

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:

n

n
- Current HR Driver Licence.
n
- Demonstrated safe driving record and strong awareness of road safety practices.
n
- Ability to handle livestock or willingness to learn animal handling techniques.
n
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality.
n
- Willingness to learn and commit to a structured career progression pathway.
n
- Good understanding of or ability to learn fatigue management and compliance requirements.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Effective communication skills with supervisors and team members.
n
- Physically capable of performing manual tasks related to loading/unloading livestock.
n
