We pride ourselves on our in-house carpentry team boasting extensive industry experience. Due to ongoing growth, we're looking for a full-time lead carpenter to join our team.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, leads by example, communicates well with clients and trades, and genuinely cares about building quality homes.

What you'll do

n

n
- Read and interpret plans, drawings and spec accurately
n
- Lead the carpentry team across framing, lock-up and fix across variety of projects
n
- Set out and deliver work from architectural, structural and consultant documentation
n
- Coordinate subcontractors
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues as they arise
n
- Lead and educate a team of carpenters and apprentices




n
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
n
- Represent JV Building & Construction professionally onsite with clients and other trades
n

What we're looking for

n

- Minimum 5 years experience
n
- Confident in frames, lock-ups and fix across variety of new builds, renovations and extensions
n
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
n
- Comfortable reading architectural, structural and consultant plans
n
- Experience leading a team of carpenters and apprentices
n
- Good problem-solver who can handle site issues professionally
n
- Reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
n
- Professional attitude with growth mindset
n
- Communicates well with clients and trades
