Job Description

We re currently seeking experienced Process Workers / Packers to join a large and well-established chicken production facility located in Somerville for an immediate start.

You will become part of a fast-paced production team responsible for packing, quality checking, and preparing chicken products while maintaining high food safety and quality standards.

About the Role:

n

n
- Packing and preparing raw chicken products for dispatch
n
- Quality checking products to ensure they meet customer and food safety standards
n
- Labelling and packaging products accurately
n
- Handling raw chicken products and spices in a chilled production setting
n
- Completing manual handling tasks (up to 20kg when required)
n
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic work area
n
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets and KPIs
n




- Identifying and reporting any food safety or quality concerns
n

About You:

n

n
- Previous experience in food production, process work, packing, or manufacturing
n
- Comfortable handling raw chicken products and working in a cold environment
n
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced production environment
n
- Able to commit to Monday to Friday afternoon shifts, with overtime when required
n
- Physically fit and capable of repetitive manual handling
n
- Reliable, punctual, and looking for ongoing employment
n

Due to the location and shift times, you must have your own reliable transport. You may be required to complete pre-employment checks prior to commencement.
