Key Responsibilities

Join the team at Rydges Parramatta as a casual Conference & Events F&B; Attendant, where you'll set up and service event spaces, deliver food and beverage with a smile, and help create memorable experiences for our conference, meeting and event guests.

- Warmly greet and seat guests, providing menus and a welcoming vibe.
n
- Take accurate orders, including special requests and dietary needs.
n
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
n




- Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests.
n
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across service areas.
n
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen to ensure smooth service.
n
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
n
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance the guest experience.
n
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

What You'll Bring

- 1+ years' worth of experience as a F&B; attendant or waitstaff in restaurants, events or hotels.
n
- Proven knowledge of food and beverage items, including wine and cocktails (training will be provided).
n
- Warm, friendly and approachable manor.
n
- Must be able to carry multiple plates and clear tables.
n
- Be able to anticipate the guests needs and be adaptable.
n
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
n
- Flexible to work across different days including weekends and evenings.
