Laneway is recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Payroll & Finance skilled to join their team.

n

This is a varied role suited to someone who is confident managing payroll and finance responsibilities, with some additional involvement in HR administration, employment documentation and external workplace relations support.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Managing end-to-end payroll processing
n
- Payroll tax and BAS
n
- Same-day superannuation processing
n
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
n
- Invoicing, with invoicing processed through Great Plains
n
- Staff expenses and employee-related financial administration
n
- Bank reconciliations and general finance administration
n
- Assisting with reporting and month-end finance tasks
n
- Managing payroll records and employee-related financial information
n
- Assisting with employment contracts and general HR administration
n
- Supporting management with occasional employee and workplace matters
n
- Liaising with external workplace relations and industry bodies on relevant employment matters
n




- Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring accuracy across payroll and finance functions
n
- Great Plains / Microsoft Dynamics 365
n
- MYOB
n
- Strong Excel and payroll/accounting systems experience
n

About you

n

n
- Previous experience in payroll and finance/accounts
n
- Strong understanding of payroll, payroll tax, BAS and superannuation
n
- Experience managing invoicing, staff expenses and general finance administration
n
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
n
- Well organised and able to manage competing priorities
n
- Comfortable working independently
n
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong Excel and accounting/payroll software skills
n
- Some experience with employment contracts, workplace relations or HR administration would be an advantage
n
