Based in Somerton, our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Trade Assistants/labourers to work alongside Senior Tradespersons assisting and operating machinery and power tools.

n

This is an chance for a skilled, motivated and energetic individual to join our client's growing business. We are seeking candidates that have previously worked in a manufacturing environment and have used power tools such as grinders and drills as well as have had operated various types of machinery.

n

Rate: Dayshift $40.93 + SUPER + OVERTIME

n

Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 2.30pm

Skills & Experience required

n

- Demonstrated experience working in manufacturing environment
n
- Ability to use a variety of Hand Tools
n
- Ability to use a variety of Power tools
n
- Heavy Lifting - up to 20kgs
n
- Have a current driver licence and reliable car.
n
- Commitment to safety
n
- Be physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks
n
- Ability to commit to long term work
n
- Can undergo and pass pre-employment medical check
n
- Open and clear communication in a team environment
n
- Forklift licence ideal but not essential
