Our client, a large complex organisation within the Utilities sector, is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to start asap on their Azure Consumption Project. Working closely with the Project Manager, the successful applicant will support the delivery of the Azure Consumption project – a key initiative focused on managing the transition to Microsoft Sustainability Manager (MSM) and consolidating Power BI and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) onto Azure Fabric. While a BA skill set is required, experience in change management is also favourable as there is a small change component associated with this project.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Capture and manage end-to-end business and functional requirements to support the transition to MSM and Azure Fabric.
n
- Develop user stories and test scenarios for UAT and Go‐Live, ensuring traceability to business outcomes.
n
- Review supplier documentation and finalise business rules for BAU handover.
n
- Analyse current workflows and recommend improvements across people, process, data, and systems.
n
- Ensure quality and consistency of business analysis deliverables through peer review and alignment to standards.
n
- Support change activities including stakeholder engagement, training materials, and FAQs.
n




- Assist in SIT and UAT to validate business requirements and ensure readiness for deployment.
n

Experience and Skills

n

n
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in digital or IT projects, ideally involving cloud platforms and data analytics.
n
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Power BI, EDW, and MSM highly regarded.
n
- Experience supporting digital change initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
n
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and user story creation.
n
- Comfortable reviewing technical documentation and supporting BAU transition.
n
- Experience with UAT, SIT, and release coordination.
n
- Proficient in business analysis tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence).
n
