The business is now seeking a Business Manager to lead it into its next stage of growth. This is not a workshop supervision role; the production team is highly capable. The focus for this role is the business behind the builds: productivity, profitability, systems and people.

The role Reporting directly to the Director and Board, you will:

n

- Review current operations and develop a clear plan to lift productivity and profitability
n
- Take ownership of the financials, including budgets, job costing, cash flow, payables, receivables and payroll (MYOB)
n
- Set clear expectations across the team, drive accountability and build a culture where strong performance is recognised
n
- Strengthen internal processes, systems and records
n
- Maintain clear, timely communication with customers, suppliers and the Board
n
- Oversee daily office operations

This is a broad, hands on role with genuine ownership across the whole business.

About you

n

n
- Experience managing a business, or a significant part of one, ideally within transport, logistics, manufacturing, caravan or a related industrial sector
n
- A strong understanding of production environments, including processes, machinery, workflow and where inefficiencies can arise
n
- Confidence with financials, with recommendations backed by experience
n
- A natural drive to identify what needs improving and take the initiative to deliver it
n
