Job Description

Based in our Wayville office, assist with producing hydraulic and piping layouts, 2d drawings, 3D/BIM modelling for water infrastructure projects.

As an experienced Design Drafter, you will assist the team with preparing technical drawings and 3D models for water infrastructure projects across Exact.
n The successful candidate will be based at our Support Services Office in Wayville but may be required to travel to remote sites as required.
n Responsibilities

n

n
- Preparing 2D drawings, 3D/BIM models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D
n
- Maintaining registers, model coordination and files in line with QA procedures
n
- Developing and coordinating water infrastructure and earthworks plans
n
- Liaising with internal and external parties to coordinate set-out information, design inputs, interfaces and construction requirements
n
- Updating drawings and models using mark-ups, redlines, design reviews and as-constructed data
n

Candidate Requirements

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in engineering drafting, civil design or an appropriate combination of education and experience
n




- Understanding of hydraulic components such as pumps, pipework, and fittings
n
- Experience using computer-aided-design software in relevant industries
n
- Confident working knowledge of AutoCAD 3D
n
- Experience with Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks or other similar programs (highly regarded)
n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
n
- Ability to communicate and build relationships internally and externally
