Job Description

We are looking for a visionary HV Lead to lead a High Voltage engineering division in Sydney.

This isn't just a technical oversight role; you will be the bridge between complex power engineering and the rapid expansion of global digital infrastructure. Joining a premier engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for the design, strategy, and delivery of utility-scale power solutions for the world's most advanced data centre projects.

As the HV Lead, you will navigate the critical challenges of grid capacity, renewable integration, and 400kV+ substation design. You will:

- Build and mentor a high-performing team of electrical engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
n
- Act as the primary technical consultant for hyperscale and colocation clients during the site selection and master planning phases.
n
- Overlook the design of complex HV/MV power systems, including 330kV bulk power supplies, ensuring 100% uptime reliability.
n




- Partner with the executive team to identify new market opportunities and solidify our position as the go-to consultancy for data centre power.

What You Bring

n

n
- A proven track record in a leadership capacity within an engineering consultancy, specifically focused on HV infrastructure.
n
- Deep understanding of the specific power density and redundancy requirements unique to the data centre industry.
n
- Strong relationships with utility providers (Transgrid/Ausgrid) and a history of successful grid connection negotiations.
n
- Chartered Qualified Engineer (CPEng), NER, and ideally ASP3 accredited designer status.
