We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our Glendenning manufacturing facility.

n

This role is suited to a proven manufacturing leader who has built high-performing teams, enjoys being on the factory floor, and has a strong technical understanding of manufacturing operations. We are looking for someone who can inspire people, improve performance and create a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.

n

Applications will only be considered from candidates with demonstrated Plant Management experience within a manufacturing environment.

About the Role

n

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will have full responsibility for the protected and efficient operation of the Glendenning manufacturing plant.

n

You will lead all aspects of the business including:

n

- Safety leadership and compliance
n
- Production and manufacturing performance
n
- Maintenance and engineering
n
- Quality and customer service
n
- Continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing
n
- Cost control and productivity improvement
n
- Employee engagement and leadership development
n

Success in this role will be measured through improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People performance.

About You





n

To be successful you will demonstrate:

n

n
- 5-10 years' experience as a Plant Manager in a manufacturing environment.
n
- Experience within the packaging, plastics, metal packaging, FMCG or related manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
n
- A proven ability to lead large manufacturing teams and build a positive, accountable and high-performance culture.
n
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and develop frontline leaders.
n
- Sound technical understanding of manufacturing processes, plant equipment and maintenance.
n
- Experience driving Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and waste reduction initiatives.
n
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to improve productivity, reduce costs and maximise plant performance.
n
- Demonstrated success improving safety performance and building a proactive safety culture.
n
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage people at all levels of the business.
n
- A hands-on leadership style with a visible presence on the factory floor.
