Chemcote Specialty Coatings is an Australia-wide specialist in anti-corrosion coating solutions. We provide end-to-end services, from inspection of steel infrastructure and corrosion assessment, through surface preparation and repair, to final protective coating application.

We Are Hiring: Motivated Workers (Grit Blaster / Coating Applicator / Painter)

n

About the Role

n

You will be involved in the preparation and coating of steel structures to protect against corrosion. Work is primarily carried out on-site across Wollongong and the East Coast of Australia, including ports, industrial sites, and marine environments.

n

Full training will be provided.

n

Typical duties include:

n

n
- Surface preparation (cleaning, drying, grit blasting)
n




- Application of protective coatings
n
- Working as part of a team on various project sites
n

n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Experience in industrial painting, blasting, or coatings (advantageous)
n
- Experience as a painter, mechanic, welder, or diver (beneficial)
n
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
n
- Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
n
- No claustrophobia (confined space work may be required)
n
- Flexible with working hours
n
- Valid driver's licence (Class C)
n
- Good communication in English
n
- Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
n
