A well-established multi-site radiology practice on the Sunshine Coast is looking for a skilled Sonographer to join their team.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety in their scanning list and wants to be part of a larger network with real career runway - multiple clinic locations, hospital-based work, and a purpose-built breast imaging facility, with further expansion planned for 2026.

You'll be supported day-to-day by an experienced Chief Sonographer and work closely with Radiologists, sonography colleagues, and a dedicated OB/GYN specialist, all focused on strong patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

n





Deliver a broad scope of ultrasound studies, spanning general, musculoskeletal, vascular, and obstetric/gynaecological imaging

n

Split time between hospital and community clinic settings, plus access to a specialised breast imaging unit

n

Take part in an on-call rotation as required

n

Work in partnership with radiologists and a broader clinical team

n

Maintain scanning rooms and patient flow to a high standard

n

Skills Required:

n

A recognised sonography qualification (Bachelor, Graduate Diploma, or Masters level) and current ASAR registration

n

Around two years or more of experience post-qualification is preferred, though capable new graduates are welcome to apply

n

Broad scanning ability across breast, general, vascular and obstetric/gynaecological work; MSK exposure regarded highly

n

Availability for weekend on-call coverage (5pm-8am rotation)

n

A collaborative mindset, comfortable working solo or as part of a team

n

Genuine interest in continuing education and skill development

n

Familiarity with Canon ultrasound systems is a bonus

n

Robust communication skills and a patient-first approach
