Due to continued growth, Cortrols Temperature Systems is seeking a motivated and capable BMS Service Technician / Small Projects Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

n

You will play a key role in both service delivery and small project execution, working across a variety of commercial HVAC and BMS environments.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Servicing, maintaining, and fine‐tuning BMS systems and associated equipment
n
- Identification of efficiency and upgrade opportunities.
n
- Fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs across control systems
n
- Assisting with commissioning of new installations
n
- Performing point‐to‐point checks, functionality testing, and witness testing
n
- Managing and delivering small projects, upgrades, and system extensions end‐to‐end
n
- Undertaking engineering tasks including programming, graphics, and integration
n
- Maintaining strong client relationships and delivering high‐quality outcomes
n




- Contributing to continuous improvement of internal processes and systems
n

About You

n

We're looking for a technically capable and reliable professional who takes pride in delivering quality outcomes.

n

You will have:

n

n
- Minimum 2+ years BMS experience (programming, graphics, and integration)
n
- Strong knowledge of HVAC and BMS systems
n
- Strong knowledge and understanding of BMS protocols, networking, and communications
n
- Trade qualification in Electrical / HVAC‐R or related Engineering qualification.
n
- Extensive commercial HVAC experience
n
- Strong computer and networking skills
n
- Hands‐on experience in HVAC / BMS engineering or installation (highly regarded)
n
- Current Restricted Electrical Licence
n
- Current Industry White Card
n

In addition, you will demonstrate:

- Strong fault‐finding and problem‐solving ability
n
- Excellent communication, relationship‐building, and time management skills
n
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Professional presentation — well‐spoken, trustworthy, and reliable
n

n

Tridium Niagara experience is highly regarded but not essential.

n

- A valid Australian driver's licence
n
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a current Australian work visa
n
- Working with Children and Police Check
n
