Seeking a Qualified Bricklayer in Wollert!

- Day Shift to commence ASAP 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday
n
- Pay rate of $50ph (including casual loading)
n

n

Programmed are currently seeking a reliable qualified Bricklayer to join their client in Wollert who specialise in the manufacturing and distribution of Bricks.

n

Successful applications must be reliable and have a Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying, and be available 6am - 2pm Monday - Friday (Long-term).

n

Duties include but are not limited to:

n

n
- Maintain clean and tidy work area including kiln car repair area and kiln car cleaners
n
- Concrete Screeding, String lining, and concrete pours
n
- Perform daily routine inspections and maintenance of all available kiln cars.
n
- Inspect Kiln Cars for any damaged sustained to metal frame and skirts, and repair any damage found.
n
- Work as part of a team to complete full car re-builds, including the following tasks: Stripping of old materials
n
- Install blocks to manufacturer's recommendations
n
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks and general labouring duties / manual handling
n

Skills / abilities required:

n

n




- Must have a Certificate III in Bricklaying and Blocklaying - Apprenticeship CPC33020
n
- Must be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
n
- Adequate skill in keeping organized to ensure supplies are replaced when running low.
n
- Sound problem-solving skills.
n
- Adequate skill in prioritising tasks.
n
- Sound ability to perform housekeeping and routine cleaning of working area.
n
- Sound ability to read and understand schematic drawings, plans and specifications.
n
- Ability to lift 20kg-30kg.
n
- Must pass a medical assessment Prior to commencement
n
- Must be available Monday - Friday for day shift (6am - 2pm) long-term
