A&R; Earthmoving and Haulage Pty Ltd is seeking a Night Shift Tipper Truck Driver who has experience in asphalt and profiling roadworks to join our haulage team. This is a permanent casual position based in Thornlands, Queensland.

Key responsibilities
n
n
- Operate tipper trucks safely and professionally to transport road profilings or asphalt to designated sites
n
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition
n
- Adhere to all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols at all times
n
- Load and unload materials efficiently, or supervise loading procedures as required
n
- Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation of all deliveries and hours worked
n
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and other team members to ensure smooth operations
n
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks and report any mechanical issues immediately
n
- Work flexibly during night shift hours to meet project deadlines and delivery schedules
n
- Maintain a clean and well‐organised vehicle and workspace
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
- Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence with a clean driving record
n
- Experience operating tipper trucks at night road works transporting asphalt or profilings.
n
- Proven ability to work safely and responsibly during night shift hours
n
- Robust knowledge of road safety regulations and transport compliance requirements
n
- Excellent vehicle maintenance understanding and basic troubleshooting capabilities
n
- Ability to accurately complete logbooks and delivery documentation
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to take direction from supervisors
n
- Physical fitness and capability to perform manual truck checks as required
n
- Current Australian heavy vehicle driving licence
