Brotherhood Transport Service Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a critical role within our road transport operations, based in Logan Reserve, QLD 4133. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across various routes, maintaining our reputation for reliable and professional service delivery. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their deliveries on time and in excellent condition, directly contributing to the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Operating and driving heavy-duty trucks safely and professionally across designated routes and within legal requirements
n
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition
n
- Loading, securing and unloading cargo in accordance with safety standards and company procedures
n
- Maintaining accurate logbooks and documentation of trips, fuel consumption, mileage and delivery confirmations
n
- Adhering to all traffic laws, speed limits and road safety regulations at all times
n
- Communicating effectively with dispatch, management and customers regarding delivery status and any issues
n
- Performing routine vehicle maintenance and reporting any mechanical issues promptly
n
- Maintaining a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle and representing Brotherhood Transport Service Pty Ltd positively
n
- Meeting delivery schedules and performance targets whilst prioritising safety
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driving licence appropriate for the role
n
- Current Driver Qualification Certificate (DQC) or willingness to obtain one
n
- Minimum 3 years of skilled truck driving experience in road transport
n




- Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance requirements
n
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
n
- Ability to read and interpret route maps, delivery documentation and logbook systems
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong commitment to safety and professionalism
n
- Physical fitness and ability to safely load and unload cargo
n
- Clear driving record with no major traffic violations or driving-related incidents
n
- Experience with GPS systems and digital logbook technology is highly desirable
