Allstaff Australia is seeking four experienced Civil Project Engineers to support the delivery of transport infrastructure recovery works through a major Natural Disaster Program.
n
Based in Nerang, these positions will provide engineering, contract administration and project delivery support across the preconstruction and construction phases of disaster recovery projects.
n
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers with strong transport infrastructure and Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) experience to contribute to significant recovery works across South East Queensland.
n
Key responsibilities
n
n
- Support the Project Manager with the delivery of disaster recovery projects
n
- Assist with project planning, programming, budgeting and risk management
n
- Prepare and maintain DRFA submissions and completion documentation
n
- Monitor project expenditure, progress claims, forecasts and accruals
n
- Review contractor programs, construction procedures and progress claims
n
- Support variations, extensions of time and delay claims
n
- Attend site visits and contractor meetings and provide technical input
n
- Assist with the procurement of contractors and suppliers
n
- Maintain project programs using Primavera P6
n
- Maintain accurate project, drawing and construction records
n
- Support project close-out and as-constructed documentation
n
- Report on project progress, risks, delays and emerging issues
n

Mandatory requirements Applicants must have:
n
n
- A four-year Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) accredited under the Washington Accord or otherwise recognised by Engineers Australia
n
- At least six years' experience delivering transport infrastructure projects
n
- At least three years' experience delivering projects under Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements
n
- A current Class C driver's licence
n
- The ability to successfully complete a criminal history check
n

- SAP financial management and reporting

- 3PCM budgeting and forecasting
n
- Primavera P6 programmingContract administration and contractor management
n
- TMR systems, including RADAR and ARMIS
n

What is offered
n

- $100–$140 per hour + super, depending on experience
n
- Approximately 12 months of full time contract work
n
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
n
- Possible extension based on future workloads
n
- Nerang-based position with project-related site visits
n
