Overview:
n Café Lewi is looking for enthusiastic and friendly Barista / Front of House staff to join our team. As a member of our Front of House team, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring they receive exceptional service in a warm and welcoming environment. Your role will involve greeting customers, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing an outstanding customer experience throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and Serve Beverages: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and espresso drinks according to Café Lewi's recipes and standards.

n

Customer Service: Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, assist them with menu choices, and ensure they have a positive experience from start to finish.

n

Order Taking and Processing: Accurately take and process customer orders, ensuring that orders are communicated clearly to the kitchen and barista team.

n

Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and drinks in a timely and professional manner. Ensure all items are presented beautifully and in line with Café Lewi's standards.

Table Management:



Set up and explicit tables, assist in maintaining an organised dining area, and ensure a comfortable environment for customers.

n

Cash Handling: Process payments using the cash register, handle cash and credit transactions accurately, and provide change as necessary.

n

Cleaning and Organising: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the dining area, ensure high standards of cleanliness are upheld throughout the shift.

n

Customer Feedback: Address customer questions, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Escalate any issues to the Café Owner if needed.

n

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen and barista team to ensure smooth communication and efficient service. Help other staff members as required.

n

Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety practices and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

n

RSA service.Must have an RSA for serving alcohol and alcohol beverages.
