Vortex Financial Planning is seeking an experienced and client-focused Financial Advisor to join our growing Gold Coast team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an adviser who enjoys building long-term client relationships rather than chasing sales targets. You will inherit an established portfolio of clients and play a key role in delivering high-quality, ongoing financial advice that helps clients achieve their financial goals.

As a Servicing Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for providing proactive, ongoing advice and support while ensuring every client receives a professional and personalised experience. You will work closely with our experienced support team and investment professionals, allowing you to focus on what you do best - building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional advice.

What you'll be doing

- Providing ongoing financial advice and support to an established portfolio of clients, including regular reviews and strategy updates.
n
- Building strong, long-term client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
n
- Identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and grow the business through referrals and professional networking.
n
- Keeping abreast of legislative, regulatory and industry changes to ensure all advice remains compliant and aligned with best practice.
n
- Working collaboratively with the wider team to contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.
n
- Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring all advice documentation meets compliance requirements.
n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Fully qualified Financial Advisor status and be authorised to provide personal financial advice in Australia.
n
- A minimum qualification of a Diploma of Financial Planning (or equivalent), meeting all current education requirements, including FASEA/education standards.
n
- At least 1-2 years' experience as a financial advisor.
n
- Strong technical knowledge across investments, superannuation,



personal insurance and retirement planning.
n
- A sound understanding of financial products, relevant legislation and compliance obligations.
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and relatable way.
n
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and a genuine commitment to providing outstanding client service.
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage client expectations effectively.
n
- High attention to detail, including maintaining accurate and compliant client file notes and documentation.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confidence using financial planning and CRM software.
n
- A proactive approach to professional development and a commitment to ongoing learning.
n
- Unrestricted Australian permanent residency or full Australian work rights.
