The Opportunity

n

This role is strategic in nature, focusing not only on day-to-day scheduling but also on developing long-term planning frameworks that drive efficiency, resource optimization, and sustainable performance. You'll lead a team of planners, champion process improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, cost-effective, and future-ready work programs.

n

This position will be based in our Canning Vale office.

n

Key responsibilities:

n

- Develop and implement long-term planning strategies to improve operational efficiency and resource utilisation.
n
- Align planning activities with business objectives and future growth requirements.
n
- Lead and mentor the planning team,



ensuring capability development and high performance.
n
- Allocate planning resources across programs to meet operational priorities.
n
- Ensure planning incorporates risk mitigation and supports continuous improvement.
n
- Act as the primary point of contact for planning-related queries with internal teams and external stakeholders.
n
- Track and report on planning KPIs, milestones, and resource utilisation.
n
- Implement corrective actions and improvement initiatives where required.
n

- Proven experience in leading planning teams, setting priorities, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and client requirements.

- Expertise in powerline and utility infrastructure planning or similar industries, including experience in complex scheduling across multiple projects and programs.

- Experience in integrating real-time monitoring systems and analytics to track progress, identify risks, and enable proactive decision-making.
