We're looking for a Functions Manager to take the lead on creating seamless events from enquiry to execution. If you're organised, love building relationships and thrive in a quick-paced hospitality environment, this could be your next big play.

Key Plays

- Coordinate and deliver exceptional functions and events from planning through to pack down.
n
- Be the go-to contact for clients, ensuring every event exceeds expectations.
n
- Lead and coordinate the venue team during functions to deliver a seamless guest experience.
n
- Drive function sales by building relationships within the local community and identifying new business opportunities.
n
- Manage event administration including run sheets, payments, reporting and post-event follow-up.
n
- Ensure every function is delivered safely, professionally and to The Sporting Globe's high standards.

What You'll Bring

n

n




- At least 2 years' experience in a Functions or Events role, preferably within hospitality.
n
- A passion for delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
n
- Outstanding organisation and communication skills.
n
- The ability to juggle multiple events while keeping calm under pressure.
n
- Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.
n
- Current RSA.
n
- A proactive attitude and the drive to grow our functions business.
