We have an exciting brand-new opportunity for a savvy Financial Accounting Manager to head up our Financial Accounting Team and contribute to the continued growth of the business globally.

The Role

n

Reporting currently to the CFO, this is a high profile role where you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial accounting records and reporting for the Group, working closely with the wider Finance team and business.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Leadership and development of the Financial Accounting team.
n
- Driving improvements in systems, internal controls, processes and procedures.
n
- Delivery of timely and accurate monthly financial accounts and insights.
n
- Delivery of monthly management and board reporting packs.
n
- Ownership and overseeing Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
n
- Statutory, Tax and Audit obligation management.
n
- Treasury/Cashflow and Foreign Exchange management.
n
- Ensuring compliance with policy and accounting standards.
n




- Delivering on company-wide expense targets and driving responsibility back to Department heads.
n

To be considered for this key position, you must have:

n

n
- Solid experience as a Financial Accounting Manager from a medium to large sized organisation, ideally from within a FMCG environment.
n
- Proven ability to drive change, work with senior stakeholders and to challenge the status quo.
n
- A stable career history showing progression and personal growth.
n
- Self-drive and be looking for a fast-track career in a challenging environment.
n
- Solid MS Excel skills and use of BI tools.
n
- High attention to detail and best practice focused.
n
- Outstanding leadership qualities and willingness to grow and mentor the team.
n
- Strong customer service orientation and a strong commercial mindset.
