Our client, an iconic Brisbane venue steeped in history and tradition, is currently seeking a trade-qualified Mechanic specialising in agricultural equipment and small engines to join their team based in Ascot.

n

About the Role

n

As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a range of agricultural machinery and small engine equipment. Experience working with diesel engines will be highly regarded.

n

The role also involves maintaining accurate records, monitoring workshop supplies and budgets, and assisting in the development of maintenance schedules to ensure equipment performance, reliability,



and safety.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Service, diagnose, and repair agricultural and small engine equipment
n
- Perform preventative maintenance and fault finding
n
- Assist with repairs and maintenance of diesel-powered equipment
n
- Maintain records of servicing and repairs completed
n
- Monitor workshop supplies, inventory, and budgets
n
- Work collaboratively with team members while also operating independently
n
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules
n
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
n

About You

n

n
- Trade qualified Motor Mechanic or equivalent
n
- Experience working on agricultural equipment and small engines
n
- Diesel engine experience advantageous
n
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
n
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
n
- Good organisational and communication skills
n
- Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
n
