About the role

This role offers a unique opportunity to engage with high-value government and disputes work. As a Senior Associate, you will collaborate closely with established partners within a cohesive team, contributing to complex litigation and regulatory matters. You will be involved in judicial reviews, investigations, and parliamentary inquiries, ensuring your work has a significant impact on the outcomes of major projects.

Key responsibilities
n
n
- Manage a diverse caseload involving class actions, civil claims, and commercial disputes
n
- Engage in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations to resolve disputes effectively
n
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
n
- Provide strategic advice on litigation and regulatory issues
n
- Contribute to the professional development of junior team members
n
- Ensure compliance with Australian Government security clearance requirements
n
n
Skills & experience
n
n
- Proven experience in litigation, government, or disputes work with 6+ PAE
n
- Strong capability in analytical thinking, drafting, and communication
n
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously while collaborating within a team
n
- Background in AGS, Crown, or private practice government work is advantageous
n
n
