About The Role

n

We are currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician who can contribute to the effective operation of the Saltbush Operational Sites.

n

Individuals will need to have a positive, flexible team-oriented approach, with willingness and desire to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This position will give you enough variety to keep you on your toes and will provide the successful candidate with plenty of room to grow and develop.

n

The role is available for Goldfield's (Kalgoorlie/Kambalda) Midwest (Perenjori) andn you will need to be able to work across of all of our operations, as required.

n

DUTIES INCLUDED, but not limited to

n

n
- Diagnose, repair and maintain electrical systems on heavy mobile plant, light vehicle, ancillary and support vehicles
n
- Diagnose faults using OEM diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting equipment
n
- Install, maintain and repair, Vehicle tracking systems, IVCS and two-way communications
n
- Maintain equipment in a clean,



safe and serviceable condition in accordance with the recommended operating practices including the completion of a daily pre-start safety check.
n
- Ensure that all tasks are carried out in accordance with OH&S; policies, procedures and safe work practices.
n
- Identify problems or possible improvements in our activities, services or procedures.
n
- Undertaking other duties which may include operation of other plant and equipment where suitably licensed and experienced.

Essential Criteria

n

n
- Current WA Drivers Licence including licences required to drive and operate all equipment outlined above
n
- National Police Clearance
n
- Complete Medical and Drug and Alcohol Clearance
n
- CERT III in automotive electrical technology
n

n

Desired experience and competencies

n

n
- Previous Work experience in a similar environment
n
- Ability to complete standard forms associated with inspection and reporting requirements
n
- Ability to use initiative to resolve problems and apply negotiation skills while making timely decisions that are compatible with available information and business goals.
n
- Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health
n
- Air conditioning handling licence
n
- HR drivers' licence.
n
