Location: Strathfield South, NSW
n Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm
n Pay: $48.12-$62.81 per hour + super

Tradewind Australia partners with a local community charity organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable populations. We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Social Worker to join their team and contribute to impactful community programs.

Role Overview

n

In this role, you will deliver trauma-informed, client-centered social work services to individuals facing challenges such as homelessness, chronic health conditions, disabilities, addiction, and domestic violence. You will oversee student placements and volunteers, ensuring high standards of ethical and effective support.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored care plans for clients in need
n
- Assist clients with access to emergency accommodation, healthcare, legal, and financial services
n
- Supervise and mentor social work students and volunteers
n
- Maintain confidentiality and adherence to safeguarding protocols
n




- Collaborate with partner agencies and community organizations
n
- Contribute to project reporting, impact evaluation, and funding proposals
n

Qualifications & Skills

n

Essential:

n

n
- Master of Social Work or related qualification
n
- 3-4 years' experience supporting disadvantaged communities
n
- Ability to supervise students and manage complex cases
n
- Experience with trauma-informed and community-based approaches
n
- Robust communication and organisational skills
n
- Dedication to social justice and ethical practice
n
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Zoho CRM
n
- Involvement in outreach and community development initiatives
n
