About the role:
n Are you mechanically minded, enjoy working with your hands, and want to build a long-term career in engineering? This is an exciting chance to undertake a Certificate III in Engineering (Fitting & Machining) through a hands-on apprenticeship with a well-established manufacturer based in Winchelsea.

Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you'll gain practical skills across machining, hydraulics, machine assembly and workshop operations while earning a nationally recognised qualification.

What You'll Learn:

- Read and interpret drawings and specifications

- Operate machinery
n
- Exposure to machining, hydraulics and fabrication
n
- Use precision measuring equipment
n
- Manufacture and finish components to required tolerances
n
- Perform fitting, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair work

What We're Looking For:

- Genuine interest in engineering and machinery
n
- Mechanically minded
n
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
n
- Able to follow instructions and work effectively in a team
n
- Comfortable with maths, measurements and problem-solving
n
- Safety-focused
n
- Current driver's licence
n

An interest in agriculture or farm machinery, as well as previous workshop, mechanical or hands-on experience desirable, but not essential.

n

This is a full-time apprenticeship, working 38 hours per week (including trade school), with overtime available when required.
