Job Description
We're looking for an experienced OH&S; Advisor to join our growing team in Dandenong South. This is a full-time, permanent position supporting our Victorian operations and working closely with leaders across the business to promote a proactive and positive safety culture.

About the Role
n
As our OH&S; Advisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring our workplaces remain safe, compliant and continuously improving. Working across multiple Victorian sites, you'll provide practical guidance and support on all aspects of Workplace Health & Safety, Workers' Compensation and Return to Work.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across all Victorian operations.
n
- Ensure compliance with Victorian OHS legislation, Workers' Compensation requirements and company policies.
n
- Conduct workplace inspections, audits, investigations and risk assessments.
n
- Develop, review and implement Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), safety procedures and preventative initiatives.
n
- Deliver engaging site inductions, safety training and Toolbox Talks.
n
- Provide practical OHS advice and coaching to managers and employees.
n
- Manage Workers' Compensation claims and coordinate successful Return to Work programs.
n
- Develop return-to-work plans that consider both an employee's capacity and the operational needs of the business.
n
- Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
n
- Coordinate the purchase and management of safety equipment and PPE.
n
- Prepare monthly OHS reports and maintain documentation within the Skytrust QHSE system.
n
- Travel between Victorian sites to provide hands-on safety support.
n
n
About You
n
You're a confident, approachable and solutions-focused safety professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams. You understand that effective OHS isn't just about compliance—it's about finding practical solutions that protect people while supporting the day-to-day needs of the business.
n
To be successful, you'll have:
n
n
- Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (minimum).
n
- 3–5 years' experience in Work Health & Safety, Workers' Compensation and Return to Work.
n
- Strong knowledge of Victorian WHS and Return to Work legislation.
n
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- The ability to influence, coach and support managers and employees at all levels.
n
- A practical, flexible approach with the confidence to make sound decisions that balance legislative obligations with operational requirements.
n
- Experience within manufacturing, warehousing or industrial environments (preferred).
n
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Victoria.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
n
- Experience with the Skytrust QHSE system will be highly regarded.
n
