What you'll be doing
n
n
- Constructing high-quality landscape and fencing projects.
n
- Installing retaining walls, paving, irrigation systems, turf and garden construction.
n
- Building timber,
Colorbond and feature fencing.
n
- Reading and interpreting plans and specifications (Leading Hands).
n
- Planning daily works and coordinating labour, materials and equipment (Leading Hands).
n
- Working safely and efficiently to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
n
- Operating a range of landscaping equipment and machinery.
n
- Liaising with Site Managers, clients and other contractors where required.
n
- Maintaining strong safety, quality and site presentation standards.
n
- Participating in toolbox meetings and contributing to HSEQ compliance.
n
- Building robust relationships with clients.
n
- Identifying better ways of doing things and helping us continuously improve.
n
n

What you'll bring
n
n
- Experience in landscaping, fencing or construction.
n
- (Leading Hands) Experience leading projects and coordinating a team.
n
- The ability to read and interpret plans and specifications (Leading Hands).
n
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
n
- Pride in your work and attention to detail.
n
- A solid work ethic and willingness to learn.
n
- The ability to solve problems and work well within a team.
n
- Confidence using a smartphone or tablet for daily job updates (training provided).
n
n
You'll also need
n
n
- Current driver's license.
n
- White Card.
n
- Current Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one.
n
n
Highly regarded
n
n
- Certificate III or IV in Landscape Construction, Horticulture or a related trade.
n
- Experience constructing retaining walls, paving or fencing.
n
- Skid steer or excavator tickets.
n
- Chemical application accreditation.
n
- Experience working on commercial construction sites.
n
- Grounds Maintenance experience (highly regarded).
n
