About The Role

n

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced support worker in Oak Park to join our growing care team.

n

Some Of Your Tasks Will Include

n

- Assisting clients/participants with daily living activities (including personal care)
n
- Providing companionship and emotional support
n
- Making the client feel safe, heard and respected
n
- Making sure the clients is included in decision-making about food, routines, and supports
n
- Providing transport and community access; making transparent preparation before appointments or unfamiliar activities
n
- Provide domestic assistance as needed
n

About You

n

We are seeking caring, friendly, compassionate,



people-focused individuals with strong communication skills who want a career that truly makes a difference in the lives of others. You will also have:

n
- Cert III or IV in Aged Care or Disability (required)
n
- Medication trained (desirable)
n
- Experience with complex care in disability
n
- Understanding of professional boundaries within the support work scope
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Working with Children Check
n
- CPR and First Aid certifications
n
- Your own reliable transport with comprehensive insurance and a Victorian Driver License
n
